The Full Package – Hats Off (Post-Advanced)

The expression “the full package” is an idiom in English that means “the complete offer” or “everything included.” It is used to describe a person, product, or experience that has all the desirable qualities or features.

“Hats Off” is our post-ADVANCED course, designed for students who have already achieved C1 (Advanced) level and want to reach full mastery of English (C2).
This course focuses on polishing linguistic skills to the highest level, enriching specialized and academic vocabulary, and developing precise and nuanced communication in any context, whether academic, professional, or social.

Who is it for?

  • Teenagers aged 12 to 18 who have achieved C1 (CAE) or have an equivalent level.
  • Families who want their children to master English, preparing them for international higher education or global professional environments.
  • Students preparing for C2-level official exams (Cambridge Proficiency) or those aiming for near-native language proficiency.

Course objectives:

  • Consolidate C1 level and progress towards full C2 mastery.
  • Learn to:
    • Express themselves with precision and naturalness, close to that of a native speaker.
    • Analyze and produce highly complex texts, including academic and literary ones.
    • Write advanced texts (critical essays, research articles, professional proposals).
    • Participate confidently in presentations, debates, and specialized discussions, with fluency and style.
  • Develop strategies to successfully pass C2-level official exams.

What the course covers:

  • Grammar:
    • Refinement of complex structures (advanced inversions, mixed and compound conditionals).
    • Nuances in verb tenses, advanced reported speech, and complex uses of the passive voice.
    • Register management and adapting structures to different contexts (academic, professional, formal, and informal).
  • Vocabulary:
    • Specialized vocabulary in various fields (academic, technical, cultural, professional).
    • Idioms, collocations, and phrasal verbs at an advanced level, plus high-frequency idiomatic expressions.
    • Lexical resources for sophisticated argumentation and persuasive communication.
  • Activities:
    • Debates and real-world simulations of professional and academic contexts.
    • Critical reading of complex texts (essays, specialized articles, literary excerpts).
    • Written projects: producing articles, proposals, and presentations with detailed feedback.
  • Skills:
    • Listening & Speaking: understanding complex lectures, TED talks, and debates; developing precise and natural oral expression.
    • Reading & Writing: deep analysis of academic and creative texts; producing high-level written work with cohesion and advanced style.

Discounts:

  • Friends and family: 10% per “new” student + 5% cumulative for each additional student, applicable for one term.
  • Unemployed people: 25% discount on any fee for 1 student throughout the entire course (DARDE document)
