The Whole Kit And Caboodle – Shake Things Up (A2.1)

The expression “the whole kit and caboodle” is an idiom in English that means everything, absolutely everything, leaving nothing out. It is similar to saying “the whole lot” or “the entire set,” and it is used when someone includes all things, people, or possible elements in something.

“Shake Things Up” is our A2.1 course, the first sublevel of A2 according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference). The expression refers to making big changes in order to improve a situation, bring new energy, or break from routine. It implies introducing new ideas, methods, or approaches to make things more exciting or effective.

It is designed for children and preteens who already have a solid A1 level and want to move toward pre-intermediate English, gaining fluency and confidence to communicate in a wider variety of situations.
