The Full Package – Get Your Foot In The Door (B1.1)

The expression “the full package” is an idiom in English that means “the complete offer” or “everything included.” It is used to describe a person, product, or experience that has all the desirable qualities or features.
“Get Your Foot In The Door” is our B1.1 course, the first sublevel of B1 according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference).
It is designed for teenagers who have already completed level A2 and want to make the leap to the intermediate level, gaining fluency and confidence to handle more complex situations, both academically and in their daily lives.
Who is it for?
- Teenagers aged 12 to 18 who have completed the A2 level.
- Families who want their children to use English more confidently at school and in real-life situations.
- Students preparing to advance toward full B1 or start preparing for official exams (Cambridge B1 Preliminary).
Course objectives:
- Consolidate and expand the knowledge from level A2.
- Learn to:
- Talk about past experiences, future plans, and express opinions with greater clarity.
- Participate in longer, more fluent conversations in different contexts.
- Read and understand more complex texts (articles, stories, emails).
- Write more structured texts (emails, descriptions, opinions).
- Increase confidence to communicate naturally in English.
What the course covers:
- Grammar:
- Expansion of the Present Perfect (with for, since, ever, never).
- Introduction to the Past Perfect in basic contexts.
- First conditional and structures for discussing hypotheses.
- Connectors to link ideas (although, even though, therefore).
- Vocabulary:
- Relevant topics: technology, travel, social media, environment, culture, and current affairs.
- Activities:
- Debates, presentations, and role-plays to develop speaking skills.
- Authentic readings and audios adapted to their level.
- Practical projects (writing tasks, group work, presentations).
- Skills:
- Listening & Speaking: understand and participate in conversations with richer vocabulary and precision.
- Reading & Writing: read longer texts and write cohesive, well-structured paragraphs.
Discounts:
- Friends and family: 10% per “new” student + 5% cumulative for each additional student, applicable for one term.
- Unemployed people: 25% discount on any fee for 1 student throughout the entire course (DARDE document)
