From this stage onwards, the course consists of 1.5 hours of English per week, allowing more time for students to use English actively and continue developing the different language skills in greater depth.

We work with small groups of no more than 6 students, allowing everyone to participate actively and enabling the teacher to monitor each student’s progress closely.

This format allows us to combine communicative activities, listening, reading and writing while maintaining a dynamic pace appropriate for the students’ age.

Students will have a small amount of homework each week to reinforce and consolidate what has been covered in class. Tasks will always be appropriate for their age and level and will help them gradually develop greater independence and good study habits.

Our approach is practical, communicative and age-appropriate, giving students increasing opportunities to use English actively and become more independent learners.

We continue to place particular emphasis on listening and speaking, with English used regularly in classroom routines, games and activities. New language is introduced gradually and in context and reused in different situations to encourage natural understanding and use.

Reading and writing take on a progressively greater role, with simple texts and level-appropriate activities that help students understand and begin to produce sentences and short texts in English.

Our aim is for students to build confidence, participate and use English increasingly spontaneously, while also developing greater independence and good learning habits.

Throughout the course, we work with topics that are familiar and relevant to students, gradually expanding the vocabulary, expressions and structures they can understand and use in English.

Topics may include family, school, friends, home, food, everyday activities, hobbies, free time, travel and the world around them, with new language introduced gradually and in context.

Students learn to use an increasingly varied range of expressions and structures to talk about themselves and their experiences, describe people, places and situations, express likes, preferences and simple opinions, ask and answer questions, and communicate with greater independence in familiar situations.

The course continues to place particular emphasis on listening, understanding and interacting in English, while reading and writing begin to play a greater role. Students start working with short, simple texts and producing sentences and short pieces of writing appropriate to their level.

Is any previous knowledge of English or a level test required?

Yes. This course is designed for students who already have a foundation in English at approximately A1 level.

A level test is not generally required, but if there is any doubt about which group would be most suitable, we can arrange a short in-person assessment at Eureka before they join the course.

How are the groups formed?

Groups are organised primarily according to school year, age and English level, as well as timetable availability. From this stage onwards, English level plays a more important role when forming groups and ensuring an appropriate pace of learning.

How many students are there in each group?

We work with small groups of no more than 6 students, allowing everyone to participate actively and enabling the teacher to monitor each student’s progress closely.

Are the teachers native speakers?

Our team consists of native English-speaking teachers or teachers with a native-equivalent level of English, selected both for their command of the language and their ability to work with children and adapt classes to their age and level.

Are the classes entirely in English?

English will be the main language of communication in the classroom and will be used regularly for explanations, activities and interaction. Other languages may occasionally be used when necessary to clarify specific concepts and support learning.

Will there be homework?

Yes. Students will have a small amount of homework each week to reinforce and consolidate what has been covered in class. Tasks will be appropriate for their age and level and will help them gradually develop good study habits and greater independence.

What happens if a student misses a class?

If a student is unable to attend a class, we will provide the information and/or materials needed to catch up, whenever possible. As these are group classes, sessions missed due to a student’s absence cannot be made up individually and are not deducted from the course fees.

Our fees are calculated on the basis of an average of 35 teaching weeks per academic year. The exact number of sessions may vary slightly depending on the day of the week and the academic calendar, and some groups may have an additional session. These small variations are already taken into account in the course fees.

What happens if Eureka has to cancel a class?

If Eureka has to cancel a class and we are unable to provide a substitute teacher, we will offer a make-up session. If it is not possible to reschedule the class, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the next payment, whether monthly or termly.

Friends & Family

10% discount for each new student, plus an additional 5% for each additional student, applicable for one term.

Unemployment Discount

15% discount on the course fee for one student per family throughout the academic year. Supporting documentation will be required.

Discount Conditions

Discounts cannot be combined. Where more than one discount applies, the most favourable discount will be applied.

For particularly small groups of 2 or 3 students, discounts will be subject to the viability of the group and Eureka reserves the right not to apply them.

Discounts apply to course fees and not to registration fees or other additional charges, unless expressly stated otherwise.
