Our P4 English group is the perfect introduction to English for young learners. At this stage, children are full of curiosity and energy, making it the ideal time to explore a new language through movement, songs, and creative play. The focus is on listening and speaking, helping them build a natural ear for English while having fun in a safe and encouraging environment.

Who is it for?

• Children aged 4–5 starting to learn English in a playful and natural way.
• Families who want to introduce English early through fun and engaging activities.

• Students who are developing listening and speaking skills before focusing on reading and writing.

Course objectives:

• Familiarise children with English sounds and rhythms through songs, stories, and games.
• Learn to:
  • Say their name and age.
  • Identify and name familiar objects, animals, and people.

  • Follow simple classroom instructions in English.

• Build confidence and curiosity towards a new language.

What the course covers:

Basic language exposure:

• Simple greetings and introductions.

• Common classroom phrases (“sit down,” “listen,” “stand up,” “let’s play”).

Vocabulary:

• Colours, numbers (1–10), animals, toys, family members, parts of the body.

Activities:

• Action songs and rhymes.
• Storytelling with visual aids and puppets.
• Movement games (TPR – Total Physical Response).

• Art and craft activities linked to vocabulary themes.

Skills:

• Listening & Speaking: understand and respond to simple words and instructions; repeat and use basic vocabulary.

• Pre-reading & Pre-writing: recognise and match pictures to words; develop fine motor skills through colouring, tracing, and crafts.
