“Keep Your Eye On The Prize” is our B1.1 course, the first sublevel of B1 according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference). The expression refers to staying focused on your main goal or objective, despite distractions, challenges, or setbacks.

The course is designed for adults who have completed A2 or can already manage basic conversations and want to move toward independent communication in English, developing their ability to handle a wider range of real-life situations with more fluency and accuracy.

• Those aiming to progress toward full intermediate proficiency (B1).

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Speak more confidently on a variety of familiar topics, expressing opinions and preferences.
• Understand and use different past, present, and future tenses more accurately.
• Handle practical situations such as making arrangements, solving problems, and negotiating simple agreements.
• Understand the main points in clear standard speech on familiar topics (work, school, leisure, etc.).
• Read and comprehend simple articles, messages, and everyday texts.
• Write short connected texts such as emails, simple reports, and short opinion paragraphs.
